James Brent Belding, 52, passed away March 3, 2018 . He was born on April 19, 1965 in Hobart, Oklahoma to Jimmy Ray and Beverly Ann (Gray) Belding. Brent played football for Hobart and they were State Champions in 1980 and 1982. He graduated from Hobart High School in 1983, and continued his education for a year at Oklahoma State University. Brent worked for SKF for 10 years as a lead, and worked for 22 years in the trucking industry. He moved to Fort Worth, Texas in 2009. He enjoyed tinkering with his trucks and staying active working on his own projects. He loved fast cars and tested out every vehicle he ever drove.
He is survived by two sons: Gary Trent Belding of Hobart, Oklahoma
Kody Benjamin Belding of Fort Worth, Texas,
two grandchildren Kinley Belding and Emery Belding,
his mother Beverly (Gray) Franks of Saginaw, Texas,
one brother Kristopher Franks of Fort Worth, Texas,
and one sister Kimberly Knapp of Fort Worth, Texas,
He is preceded in death by his father Jimmy R. Belding and grandparents Frank & Marie Gray.
Family will greet friends at Ray & Martha's Funeral Home in Hobart from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. and a rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 8, 2018.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 9, 2018, at Ray & Martha's Chapel in Hobart, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Hobart, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Hobart, Oklahoma.
