Jackie Ray Maggard, 77, of Hobart, Oklahoma passed away unexpectedly on February 28, 2023 at the Elkview General Hospital. He was born on December 5, 1945 to Steve and Dottie (Prince) Maggard in Anadarko, Oklahoma. Jackie grew up in Binger, OK and attended school in both Binger and Anadarko, graduating from Anadarko High School in 1963. He married his high school sweetheart, Loretta Hannagan, and to this union was born 2 children, Mark and Ginger. Jackie moved to Hobart in 1968. Jackie worked for PSO for 32 years and retired in 2010. He also was a volunteer Firefighter for the Hobart Fire Department, where he served for 20 years. He owned 2 horses, Snickers and Cody, which he enjoyed riding with the horse club. He also enjoyed wood working, having built furniture for his family over many years. Jackie also enjoyed gardening and dearly loved his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
