Jack Ellis Riffe,77, of Hobart, Oklahoma passed away peacefully with family by his side on August 8, 2017. Jack was born on May 5, 1940 in Aberdeen, Washington.
Jack was baptized in Olympic View Community Church in Washington at the age of 10. He served in the United States Army in 1969 and Air National Guard, Honorably Discharged in 1986 as Staff Sargent Jack Riffe. He was a member of the Coos County Mounted Sheriffs Passe in Coos Bay, Oregon. Jack was proud of his appaloosa horses, they were used as mounts for the sheriffs posse. He was also a proud member of the Eagles Lodge in Coos Bay, Oregon.
Jack was well known in our community, he has helped many family, friends and anyone who asked. Jacked loved his animals, he was always known to have 4-5 dogs, he even fed stray cats. Jack was loved by many, and will be missed by all who knew him.

Preceded in death by his wife: Nancy Palm Riffe, parents: Andrew Jackson and Loraine (McCoy) Riffe.

Survivors Include: sister: Marcella Lea (Riffe) Frederick of Oregon
Children: Beverly Frederick Smith
Samuel Lee Frederick
Marcy Lea Frederick
Thomas Frederick & wife Button and their children
Jack also has 2 other sisters and 1 brother
Numerous nieces and nephews, lots of friends.
He will be greatly missed, Rest in peace my friend.
