Ida Oleta Miller, 71, of Pocasset, Oklahoma, was born June 2, 1942 in Anadarko to Thomas and Prentie (Patterson) Wilson. She passed away Friday, July 26, 2013 at The Physicians Hospital in Anadarko.
Oleta was born in Anadarko and attended elementary school there. The family moved to Louisiana in 1953 and it was there she attended and graduated from high school. She was married in October 1959 and to that union two daughters were born. Oleta returned to Anadarko in 1977 and eventually made her home in Pocasset, Oklahoma.
She was a compassionate and caring mother, grandmother, friend and was devoted to her family.
Preceding her in death were her parents and two brothers, Hubert Wilson and A. L. Wilson.
Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Miller-Clough of Scottsbluff, Nebraska and Lisa Cherry of Minco; one brother, Dean Wilson of Oklahoma City; one sister, Betty Quebedaux of Sulphur, Louisiana; an uncle, Carl “Big Boy†Patterson of Lawton; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be from 9 to noon before the graveside service at 3 P.M., Thursday, August 1, 2013, in the Hazel Dell Cemetery, west of Minco under the direction of the Steverson Funeral Home in Anadarko.
