Howard Lee James

Howard Lee James of Burkburnett,TX passed away peacefully at home on January 22, 2022 at the age of 81.
Howard was born on December 27, 1941 in Lawton, OK to Jessie and Goldie (Sprouse) James.
He grew up in Geronimo, OK and graduated from Geronimo High School. He spent many years in the Walters and Duncan area.
Howard loved fishing and was a fantastic artist who loved to paint and make art out of matchsticks.
He is preceded in death by his: parents; sister, Meada Jewell Elkins; brother-in-Law, Edgar Paul Elkins

Daughter, Pamela L. Miller and husband, Stuart, Burkburnett, TX
Grandsons: Declan James , Ft. Worth, TX; Jenson James, Ft. Worth, TX; John D. Frye III and wife, Katie, Kemp, TX; Jeremy D. Frye and wife, Kelso, Iowa Park, TX
Great grandchildren: Harlie and Keelan Frye
Great granddaughter, Paige Frye of Burleson, TX
Nephews, Mike Elkins and wife, LouAnn, Elgin, OK; Tony Elkins and wife, Linda, Geronimo, OK
