Holly Lynn Holman

January 5, 1973 — June 6, 2018

Holly Lynn Holman was born January 5th, 1973 in Hobart, Oklahoma. She passed away June 6th, 2018 in Anadarko, Oklahoma.
Holly was the youngest of three children born to Billy Ray & Rosetta Holman. She was several years younger than her siblings & soon earned the titled "Spoiled" by all. Holly was a very sweet & mischievous child. She loved being the center of attention & could always wrap everyone around her little finger.
Animals was one of Holly's greatest passions. She could always be seen carrying around a puppy from her Dad's kennels. She worked with her dad helping him at the kennels off & on during her life. She had a cat named Max that she adored. She became ill & wasn't able to care for him any longer & worried about him until she found a good home & was loved as she loved him.
Holly enjoyed bead work & spent many hours making key chains & jewelry. The bead work was a source of peace & tranquility for her. She would pray for someone different everyday while she was at peace.
Holly collected angels of all shapes & sizes & sometimes would write poems about them. The poetry was another way for Holly to find peace. She entered a poetry writing contest & was so happy when she won. Some of her poems have been published.
Holly & her mother Rosetta lived in Weatherford for a while as she attended high school. After graduation she attended college for a short time, then later went to work at Walmart.
Holly loved her family & loved all the time she spent with her Aunts & Uncles.
Holly spent all the time she could on the road with her Dad shipping puppies & attending bluegrass festivals. While at the festivals she became acquainted with a lot of band members & listened to bluegrass all the time.
She cared for older people & when she felt them on her mind she would say a prayer & hoped they were having a good day. Anyone who knew Holly could always count on at least two things: She would be wearing jewelry from head to toe & had a never ending supply of candy for herself & friends.
Holly's life was not meant to be long. She has good memories, but as life went on her illness seemed to be too great. She knew in her heart that she had to be taken care of & excepted it. She could no longer live at home, but was able to talk to her mother on the phone several times a week. Her sister Marilyn would do all of Holly's shopping for her & visit Holly when she was well enough for visitors.
Rosetta was able to go see Holly as long as her health would allow, but when they were no longer able to meet their phones calls kept each other going. Marilyn would set up the calls & the three of them would visit often.
The last year of Holly's life was a struggle, but when God says it is enough, it's enough. Holly will be greatly missed & forever in our hearts.
