Hershel Monroe Olinger, 80, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2024. He was born on May 10, 1943, to Fred and Juanita (Spencer) Olinger in Beattyville, Kentucky.
He attended Middletown Public School in Ohio. Hershel joined the United States Army on October 5, 1962, and was honorably discharged on October 4, 1965.
He was a man of many trades such as US Army sharp shooter, carpenter, butcher, truck driver & school bus driver for Anadarko Public School. He spent the last few years of retirement fishing, telling others about Jesus & volunteering at Ft. Sill National cemetery in Elgin. He will be deeply missed by all who knew & loved him.
Preceded in death by: Parents: Fred and Juanita Olinger; 2nd wife, Shirley Olinger; 1st wife, Viola Craddock; Great Grandchild: Penelope Olinger; Brother: Freddie Olinger and Sisters: Carol Kilbarger and Betty Kinion.
