HENRY "DUKE" FISHER
Henry Duke Fisher, 64, went to join his mama, daddy, brother and all the rest of his loved ones in heaven on June 5th, 2021, in Chickasha, Oklahoma. He was born July 8th, 1956 in Chicago, Illinois to Rudolph Henry Fisher and Esther Mae "Tiny" White Buchanan. In his early years, Duke lived in Chicago, Illinois, his teenage years and home was Anadarko, Oklahoma. He spent his later years in Chickasha, Oklahoma. He was a graduate of Anadarko High School and also a member of the Comanche Nation of Oklahoma. Duke was not much on conversation, but enjoyed his cigarettes and watching football (Sooners, Ravens and Cowboys). In his younger days, Duke was an outstanding baseball and football player, winning numerous Punt, Pass and Kick trophies and medals. In his free time Duke loved to sing and play his guitar.
Duke is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Rudolph Wayne Fisher, his aunt Wanda Lee Meredith, his grandparents Henry A. Fisher and Agnes Sturm, Otto and Jennie Chandler White. He is survived by niece Melanie Fisher Kolzen and spouse William Kolzen, nephew Rudolph W. Fisher Jr. and companion Lori Smith. Duke is also survived by and will be greatly missed by his brother Rudy's granddaughter Mia Rochelle Fisher and great grandson Kayson Jax Bryant. His mother's nieces Lisa Fay Meredith of South Burlington, VT; and Annette May Meredith of Fort Collins, CO.
He will be laid to rest at Memory Lane Cemetery on June 9th, 2021.
