Helen R. Evans, 89, long time Rocky, OK resident, passed away on Monday, December 17th, 2012 in the Elkview General Hospital, Hobart, OK. She was born October 31st, 1923 in Rocky, OK to T. C. and Ila (Galloway) McKee. Helen lived in Rocky most of her life. She married Gerald Evans on June 2, 1945 in Mount Vernon, IL and he preceded her in death. She was very devoted to her family.
Survivors include 2 nieces: Lou Cunningham and husband David, Mustang, OK
Jo Greene and husband Al, Blue Springs, MO
1 nephew, Tom McKee and wife Jana, Denver, CO
wife of deceased nephew, Carol McKee, Jefferson City, MO
Special friends and caregivers, Jim and Virginia Hanes and Curtis Rorick
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gerald, brothers, Elmo McKee and Hershel McKee and nephew Lynn McKee.
