Helen Marie Dunegan

Helen Dunegan, 74, Hobart, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2014, in Hobart, Oklahoma. She was born in Skeedee, Oklahoma on February 10, 1940, to Bruce and Rosa (West) Walker. Helen grew up in Cordell. She married Lawrence Dunegan on March 31, 1957 in Texas, then they moved to Hobart. In 1960 Helen and Lawrence moved to Con-8 to raise their family on the farm. Helen and Lawrence moved back to Hobart in 1987. Helen knitted afghans, and liked doing arts and crafts. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Church of God in Hobart.

She is survived by her two sons: Troy Dunegan, Con-8, OK
Rocky Dunegan and wife Neva, Hobart, OK
seven grandchildren: Sarah Dunegan, Ryan Dunegan, Brandon Smith, Brian Raul, Amber Hoffman and husband Matt, Dustin Dunegan and wife Maggie, Randy Dunegan and wife Donna
11 great-grandchildren
one sister: Wilma Gromer, Kentucky

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Lawrence (December 26, 2005), one brother Marvin Walker

Family will meet friends at Ray & Martha's Funeral Home Monday, March 31, 2014 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Burial will follow at the Hobart Rose Cemetery, Hobart, OK under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Hobart.
