Harvey Gibson

Harvey Harold "Skeet" Gibson, 79, of Carnegie, OK passed away January 9th, 2013 at the Carnegie Tri-County Municipal Hospital. He was born November 19th, 1933 to Harvey and Melba (Maxey) Gibson in Altus, OK. Skeet attended and graduated from Carnegie High School. He was united in marriage to Norma Prather June 23, 1956 in Anadarko, OK. Skeet served on the City Counsel for several years, helped with the Boy Scouts and was very active in the community. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Carnegie, OK.

two daughters, Marcy Allen and husband, Jeff, Hobart, OK
Toni Roland and husband, David, Carnegie, OK
special niece, Trenda Phy and husband, Pharon, Carnegie, OK
ten grandchildren, Greg Wilson and wife, Julie, Laura Gibson, Kyle Allen and wife, Jaren, Joel Allen, John, Jeff and Jesse Roland, Breck and Brennan Phy,
two great grandsons, Nathaniel Wilson and Kooper Allen
one brother, Wayne Gibson, Norman, OK
two brother-in-laws, J.W. Prather, Carnegie, OK

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Norma, sister, Marceline Charles

Funeral Services: 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 12, 2013 at the First Baptist Church, Carnegie, OK
Burial will follow at the Carnegie Cemetery
under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Carnegie, OK
