Harvey Howard Gammel, 86, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at his home in Hobart.
He was born on December 20, 1926 in Sheridan, Arkansas to Jessie and Oney Lee (Drake) Gammel. Harvey married Scottie Daughety on June 7, 1975 in Long Beach, California. He worked 15 years at U.S. Steel before retiring. Harvey also served two years in the U.S. Navy. He moved to Hobart, Oklahoma in January 1981.
He is survived by his wife, Scottie, of the home

one daughter-in-law, Robin Reed, Orange County, California
one step-daughter, Connie Jo Ragland and husband Fred, Temecula, California
He is preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, and one sister.

The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013 from 3 to 4 p.m.
Burial will follow at Hobart Rose Cemetery, Hobart, OK., under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Hobart.
