Harold Barrett "Barry" Hill, 71, Burns Flat, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on July 17, 2024 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. He was born on May 4, 1953 to Harold Benjamin and Helen Isabel (Fellows) Hill in Corpus Christi, Texas. Barry grew up and attended school in Perryton, graduating from Perryton High School in 1971. Barry and Lana were married in April of 1981, and moved to Burns Flat where they made their home and raised their family. Barry was a husband, a dad and a papa and was loved by so many people. He spent his working life in the oil field. Barry loved camping with Lana, painting and drawing. He was an avid wrestling fan, wrestler in his younger years, being with his family, telling jokes including his infamous Pancho Villa joke, watching old westerns, watching and coaching softball, and cooking cajun food. Barry was a member of the Elk City Masonic Lodge 182, a member of Demolays/a Demolay Dad, and served on the Burns Flat City Council. He was an inspiration to everyone that met him and was always happy to lend a helping hand. He always welcomed everyone into his home with open arms and always said "we are all family under this roof". He taught so many people his philosophies and life lessons that will never be forgotten. Anyone that knew him knew he was "purdy, so purdy." He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
