Gregg Klinekole Jr, 85, passed away on August 14, 2023 at home surrounded by his family. He was born Feb 9, 1938 in Apache, OK to Gregg Klinekole Sr and Julia Eckiwahdah. The family called him "Babs".
Gregg attended Fort Sill Indian and Apache Public Schools. He was a quarterback on the football teams, played basketball, track, softball and participated in all other sports. Gregg met the love of his life Lyntha Tsoodle and married her in 1955. They were blessed with Gregory, Susie, Carla, Crystal, Michael, Gregg III, Kenny, Vivian, and Floyd. Gregg was an avid OU and Cowboys fan. He worked at Sequoyah Carpet Mill and Anadarko Public School. Gregg loved watching westerns and admired Cheyenne Bodie played by Clint Walker. He loved bowling and he won 4 rings bowling 300. Gregg loved his Lord, so he preached, was a deacon, and taught Sunday School classes. They attended Botone Memorial United Methodist Church and then joined the First Caddo Baptist church. They were custodians at each of the churches.
Gregg always said " Love is never to say you are sorry."
He was preceded in death by his: parents, Gregg Sr, and Julia; children, Michael Daugamah, Kenny Klinekole, Vivian Klinekole, Floyd Klinekole, Gregg Klinekole III; grandson, Dallas Blaine Leonard; siblings, Issac Klinekole, Bruce Klinekole, George Klinekole, Elsie Anquoe, Gladys Guy, Wyola Keahbone, Eugene Klinekole, Violet Moses; grandparents: Apache Sam Klinekole and Dah-ta-hay
