Glenna May Jones

Glenna May Jones, 84, a long time resident of Cordell, Oklahoma passed away with her family by her side on December 24th, 2019. She was born on August 21st, 1935 to Grady & Evelyn Beatrice (Reis) Cothrum in Cordell, Oklahoma. Glenna grew up and attended grade school at Lincoln and high school in Cordell, graduating from Cordell high school in 1953. During her early teens she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized. She married Lavern Jones on September 28, 1953 in Cordell, Oklahoma, to this union was born one daughter, Rhonda. Glenna was a member of the Northside Church of Christ, she also served on the Election Board. She worked for the Kiwash Electric Company as a clerk. Glenna was an excellent seamstress and loved caring for her kittens, Dachshunds and many other animals. She loved her family more than anything. Glenna will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Grandson: Jarod Lundy & wife Noel of Yukon, OK
Great Grandson: Dash McClain of Yukon, OK
