Gladys Vernice Moore, 85, went home to be with the Lord on April 7, 2022. She was born January 13,1937 at Washita, OK to James Bryant and Mattie. L. (Hollis) Heddlesten.
Gladys was raised in the Washita area and attended school. She met the love of her life, Robert Moore. They married April 4, 1953. They had 4 wonderful children, Jim, Rick, David and Dorothea.
She loved working in her garden, and she had a special love for yellow ones. Gladys took care of her mom and dad (Marvin) as they grew older. She cherished her grandchildren and they knew where to go if they wanted chocolate chip cookies, peppermints, or a cold pop. Gladys and Robert loved working together and being with the family.
Gladys loved her church, Cedar Hill Church of God. She worked hard in the church and loved her Lord with all her heart.
She is preceded by her: father, James; mother, Mattie and stepfather Marvin Taylor; daughter, Dorothea Miller, grandchild, Daniel; great grandchildren, Marcus Craddock & Titus Moore; brothers and sisters
