Gladys (Ko-ma-tha) Komalty Davenport, 93, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, April 26th, 2012. Gladys was born to Paul Lancaster and Nellie (Ahtone) Komalty on February 07, 1919 in a tepee, rural area west of Carnegie on her mothers allotment.
She was married to Howard Orin Davenport, and from that union had four children, Theresa Cheryle, Gaynell Kay, Ginger Ann and Orin C. Davenport. Gladys was apart of the group that brought back the dance, that they performed at Cincinnati Ohio in 1938, at the Worlds Fair. She was blessed with the opportunities to travel all over the World. Puerto Rico, Bahamas, Florida and St. Louis, MO are just a few places to name that she traveled too. As an American Baptist Women representative, her most blessed trip was to the Holy Land.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, husband, Howard Orin Davenport, very special uncle, Jacob "Jake" Ahtone, special aunt, Masselena Tonepahote
two special brothers, Vernon "Burr Head" Ahtone and Atwater Onco. special nephew, Vance "Vancie Boy" Ahtone, half sister, Ruth Marie and grandson, Shawn Davenport
