Geraldine S. Askew

Geraldine (Jerry) Askew, 81, of Mountain View, OK, passed away Thursday, December 11th, 2014. She was born to Carl and Edith (Shelton) Jones, March 11th, 1933 in Stroud, OK. Jerry was united in marriage to Wayne Askew, September 7th, 1952 in San Antonio, TX. She was the secretary for the American Auxiliary Legion, host #130 and also volunteered at the Mountian View Museum. Jerry was also a member of the Church of Christ in Mountain View, OK.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne Askew, of the home
five children, Vickey Beck and husband, Michael, Gahanna, OH
Curtis Askew and wife, Valeria, La Porte, Indiana
Merlin Askew and life partner, Marti Walker, Choctaw, OK
Shirley Quoetone and husband, Red, Mountain View, OK
Tracy James, Mountain View, OK
seven grandchildren, Marissa, Brandon, Aaron, Clarence, Horace, Jimmy and Suni
and twelve great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Georgia and one grandson, John.

Burial will follow at Green Valley Cemetery, Mountain View, OK
under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Mountain View, OK
