Gerald Edmond Quoetone was born on November 23, 1959 to Gene and Vivian (Martinez) Quoetone in Lawton, Oklahoma. He passed away on November 29, 2018 at his home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Jerry was a former Gold River Casino manager in Anadarko, Oklahoma. He was a member of the Kiowa Business Committee. He was well known for his love for tennis, from playing to eventually coaching. He won over 100 tennis doubles titles in Oklahoma and Texas, 5 Oklahoma State titles and 5 National Native American doubles titles. In his coaching and directing career he was a National 12 under Missouri Valley Zonal coach, a former director of tennis for Sportsworld in Lawton, Oklahoma, coached the top ranked 14-16 boys in Oklahoma, coached over 130 students from the three high schools in Lawton and coached numerous Oklahoma high school state champions and had dozens of students receive college tennis scholarships.
