Gerald Don Gabbard, 70, of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, November 23rd, 2013 at his residence. He was born August 16, 1943 to Ted and Anna (Guest) Gabbard in Carnegie, OK. Don graduated from Carnegie High School. He was united in marriage to Betty Biffle, March of 1983 in Carnegie, OK. Don had his own trucking business and drove a truck for many years. He went into law enforcement in 1979, and was Chief of Police in Carnegie for many years. Don moved to Pauls Valley in 1992, where he was Chief of Police. He later worked as a Field Deputy with Garvin County Sheriffs Department, until his retirement in 2008. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge.
