Gerald Bowen

Gerald Bowen, 77, longtime Sentinel resident passed away on March 3, 2018 in Hobart, OK. Gerald was born March 6, 1940 to Lonnie and Floy (Clark) Bowen in Kingston, Arkansas. He graduated from Sentinel High School in 1960 and joined the US Army. Gerald was united in marriage to Lula Guffey on March 1, 1963 in Birmingham, Alabama, and just recently celebrated 55 Years of marriage. In 1978, Gerald and Lou opened up Geralds Fine Foods and served the town of Sentinel for 33 years retiring in 2011. Gerald was a member of many organizations in Sentinel including the Lions Club, Chamber of Commerce, SWODA Board, and The First Baptist Church. He Was the treasurer of the First Baptist Church for 10 Years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers Dale Bowen, Duane Bowen and Eldon Bowen; 1 Sister-in-law, Marlene Bowen
