Georgia Mae Pewo, 35, of Carnegie, OK passed away Saturday, September 28th, 2013 at the Carnegie Tri-County Municipal Hospital. She was born February 11th, 1978 to Theodore and Shelia (Dupoint) Pewo, in Arkansas City, KS. She attended Carnegie School and also Broxton Public School, where she played basketball at. She also attended Caddo-Kiowa Vocational Center. Georgia was a member of the First Baptist Church and Botone Memorial United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma. Georgia enjoyed going to Pow-wows, going to the lake, cookouts and family gatherings . She was also a fan of the Georgia Bulldogs.
Georgia enjoyed watching scary movies and was a big fan of the Walking Dead. She was a member of the Kiowa Tia-piah Society and the Dirty Shame Gourd Club. She helped organizations by selling tickets at Pow-wows. She also collected candles.
Georgia enjoyed working at the Adult Education Center in Carnegie with Vicki Boetteger. She was also a member of Business Professional of America at Caddo Kiowa Tech Center. Georgia was a devoted mother. She was affectionately known as "GiGi" by all who knew her.

newphews and nieces, Ritchie Killsfirst, Cody Edge, Franklyn Pewo, Pinky Pewo, Ralph Pewo, Kaylene Pewo, George Pewo, Torin Pewo, Seth Pewo, Brandon Sankadota, Christian Pewo, Leo Gonzalez

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Caroljo Pewo, maternal grandparents, Joseph and Georgia (Botone) Dupoint, paternal grandparents, Wilber and Carrie Pewo and nephew, Donald Frank Pewo.

Wake Service: 7:00p.m., Tuesday, October 01, 2013
Funeral Service: 11:00a.m., Wednesday, October 02, 2013
Both services will be at Botone Memorial United Methodist Church, Carnegie
Burial will follow at Cedar Creek Cemetery
under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Carnegie
