George Alan VanAntwerp

George Alan VanAntwerp, 78, of Carnegie, Oklahoma passed away peacefully at his home on July 9th, 2022. He was born on July 28th, 1943 to Everett Howard ( E. H.) and Gwyneth (Morrison) VanAntwerp in Edmond, Oklahoma. George grew up and attended grade school in Edmond, Oklahoma, but graduated from Ponca City Military Academy.

He married the love of his life, Janis Cryer on June 16, 1982 in Vernon, Texas. Together they started the first Ambulance Service in Tillman County, where George worked as a paramedic for many years. Janis precedes him in death on July 18, 2015.

George also owned Van's Farms, where he raised and sold cattle for many years. He attended the Little Red Church in Carnegie, where he enjoyed the angelic voices of the church members. George was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He served as the Fredrick Municipal Judge for a period of time. George loved driving to visit friends, going out to eat and spending time with his "brother" Rusty.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
