George Lee, 87, Carnegie, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, September 15, 2013 at Southwest Hospital, Lawton, Oklahoma. He was born May26, 1926 in Marlow, OK to John and Bennie (Gibson) Lee. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of World War II. George married Zelma Barber, October 11, 1946 in Mobeetie, Texas. He was a butcher by trade and has lived in the Carnegie and Mountain View area most of his life. George attended the Church of the Nazarene, Carnegie, OK.
Survivors include his wife, Zelma, of the home
daughter, Kathie Cooper and husband, Alan, Carnegie, OK
one grandson: Dan Clark, Carnegie, OK
two great-granddaughters: Terran and Serenity Clark
George was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Geneva and Janell
Graveside Services: 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at the Hobart Rose Cemetery, Hobart, OK.
Rev. Arthur Blount, officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Carnegie, OK
