Gaylon A Cook

Gaylon (Buck) Albert Cook, 85, of Roosevelt, Oklahoma, passed away on February 11, 2024. He was born on June 4, 1938, in Mountain Park, Oklahoma, to Fred Willard and Fern Lucille (Atchley) Cook. Buck grew up and attended school in Roosevelt, graduating from Roosevelt High School in 1956. He married Lou Ann Hester on January 24, 1958, at his parents house in Roosevelt, Oklahoma. Buck worked as a mechanic at the Talley-Pontiac Car Dealership in Roosevelt. He also owned and operated Cooks Harvest Crew. During his spare time he enjoyed woodworking and fishing, he also took ponies around to carnivals and put on pony rides for the children. Buck loved his children and grandchildren, trying to make all sports games. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
