Gary Lynn Satoe, 62, passed away June 27, 2015, with family and lifetime partner, Tim, at his side. He was born on September 23, 1952, in Lawton, Oklahoma at the Kiowa Indian Hospital to Theodore and Pauline (Popetsaitke) Satoe. He attended school at Mountain View Public Schools and he went on to graduate from Del City High School, and received certification at Antioch School of Law. He was a proud member of the Kiowa Tribe and the Kiowa Gourd Clan. He was also a long-time member and sponsor of AA. Growing up Gary loved being surrounded by family and friends and he cherished every memory made with them. He had a love of music and a great passion for dancing. He welcomed everyone with open arms and a loving heart.
He is survived by his lifetime partner, Tim Curtiss of Dallas, Texas,
his furbabies (tsay-goon); Mattie, Michelle, and Daphne,
his sisters; Helen Elaine Brodeur and husband Norman Sr.
Gertrude Ruth Farrell all of Midwest City, Oklahoma,
Annette Tsatoke and husband Lee Jr.,
his brothers; Ted Satoe Jr. and wife Wynette,
Jesse Allen Satoe,
Jeffrey Kent Satoe Sr. and wife Tanya all of Anadarko, Oklahoma,
as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Pauline (Popetsaitke) Satoe, sisters; Beverly Ann Tonips, Emily Jean Treaster, Shari Raynell Roughface, Oleta Nadine Satoe, and Karen Suzanne Satoe, nephews; Norman Brodeur Jr. and Roy David Treaster.
