Gailya B Sweet

Gailya B Sweet, 85, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2017. Gailya was born on July 10th,1931 to Orbin Lee and Iris Ella (Lepper) Bookout in Dill City, Oklahoma. She grew up and attended school in Dill City, graduating in 1949.She married Kenneth Glen Sweet, October 5, 1949. They lived in Cordell, and then moved to Texas and New Mexico and finally to Oklahoma City. Kenneth worked for C.R. Anthony's Co. and Gail worked as a cashier for a company in Roswell. After moving to Oklahoma City she attended Oklahoma City Community College and completed a business course. Gailya loved to sew and paint but most of all she loved her children and grandchildren, she was the best mother in the world.

Gailya was united in heaven with her parents and two brothers; Bill Bookout and Jerry Bookout.

Survivors include: Husband; Kenneth of the home.
