Gail Jean Anderson, born on August 11, 1949, in Worden, Illinois, she passed away peacefully on March 24, 2025, surrounded by her cherished family. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who touched the lives of everyone she met.

Gail was the proud mother of Doug Jarden and his wife Brenda, along with their children Doug Tollison and Ashley Thompson; Melissa Holly and her husband Ricky Friaz, along with their children: Jonathan Holly, Jimmy Holly and girlfriend Stephanie, Antonia Holly and partner Ben, Jesse Friaz and wife Faith, Jaden Friaz, Dixie Holly, and Caden Holly; Dale Haynes and his wife Heather , and their children Jessica, Angelina, Christian, Katrina and Samantha; and Kirk Bailey and his wife Shannon, along with their children Paige Taylor, Payten Bailey, Clifton Craighead, Darian Craighead, and Kyle Craighead, and the late Colby Bailey. She is also survived by many more great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Gail's siblings included her sister Susan Ottwell, sister Cathy Anderson-Elledge, and brother Larry Anderson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fern and Earl Anderson, her great-grandson Benjamin Taylor, and her sisters Ruth Ann Randal and Linda Jones-Reed.

Gail had a passion for life that was infectious. She loved nothing more than spending quality time with her grandchildren, creating memories that they will carry with them forever. Her adventurous spirit often led her to the casino (hint, hint, wink, wink), where she enjoyed the thrill of the game and the camaraderie of friends.

Gail Jean Anderson will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her. She passed away peacefully, and her legacy of love will continue to shine through her family and friends.
