Freddie B. Mills

Freddie B. Mills, 84, of Cordell, OK, passed away on Wednesday, April 21st, 2012 in Altus, OK. He was born July 1, 1927 in Scott, OK to G. E. and Alma (Meece) Mills. Fred grew up around Hinton, OK and served with the U. S. Army during World War II. He moved to Cordell, OK in 1981. Freddie was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cordell, OK. He had a deep love for horses.

Survivors include his wife, Maxine Mills, Snyder, OK
one son, Dave Mills and wife Teresa, Hobart, OK
one daughter, Carla Beats, Vinita, OK
six grandchildren: Troy Beats, Amy Gabbert, Daniel Beats, David Beats, Phillip Beats and Michelle Toliver.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, C. V. Mills and Dean Mills and two sisters: Wanda Leach and Dorothy Ross.

Ray and Martha's Funeral Chapel, Hobart, OK

Burial will follow in the Lawnview Cemetery, Cordell, OK under the direction of Ray and Martha's Funeral Home of Hobart.
