Francisco Javier Salazar Alvarez, passed away peacefully at his home on September 8, 2024, in Carnegie, OK. He was born on December 3, 1951, to Eugenio & Benita (Alvarez) Salazar, in Dolores Hidalgo, Mexico. He met and married the love of his life, Mary, on July 5, 1978, in Vernon, TX. Together they made their home in Carnegie, raising their children. Francisco was hard-working and dedicated. He spent 38+ years working for the Farmers Co-op. Through the years he enjoyed fishing, working in his yard, family gatherings and spending time with his wife and grandchildren. Francisco was strong willed and stubborn at times, but he also had an enormous heart and a wonderful sense of humor and always had a story to tell. He was generous, loyal and brave. He was clever and full to the brim with knowledge gained through all his life experiences. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
