Franklin Dale Swift, 89, passed away November 15, 2021, in Lawton, OK. He was born May 26, 1932, in Lawton, OK to Frank and Eunice (Campbell) Swift. Franklin was a full blooded Wichita Tribal Elder.
He was raised in the Caddo County area. Franklin attended Riverside School and graduated in 1950. He worked for Stevenson Brothers and Sequoyah Mills in Anadarko, OK. Franklin retired in 1979.
Franklin met and married Rochelle Standing August 1955 in Caddo County. They were blessed with one son, Clifford.
He is preceded in death by his: parents, Frank and Eunice; daughter, Baby Girl Swift; sisters, Lavera Swift Reeder, Armalene Swift Horse Chief, Novalene Swift Holder
Franklin is survived by: Rochelle Swift of the home
Son: Clifford and wife, Tina Swift, Anadarko, OK
Grandson: Joshua Lawrence Swift and companion, Paula Ann Orduna, Anadarko, OK
Granddaughter: Mylie Nicole Swift, Anadarko, OK
Great Grandchildren: Tikie Swift, Lacy Ro Swift, Joshua L Swift Jr, Greyson Dean Swift
