Franklin Gunter

Franklin "Bud" Gunter, 72, of Sperry , OK was born November 9, 1940 in Alfalfa, OK to Carroll and Flora E. (Powers) Gunter. He passed away January 16, 2013 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Bud worked as a police officer, business owner, contractor, and his favorite was farming. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. His favorite times were spent with his grandkids and napping.

He is survived by his wife, Penny Sue Gunter of the home

sister-in-law, Phyllis Frost of Sperry, OK
and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Carroll Gunter, sisters, Joyce Cowling and Ann Murphy; brothers-in-law, Orbie Wilburn and Butch Murphy; and great-nephew, Orbie Wilburn.

Funeral Services: 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 21, 2013 at the Church of the Nazarene, Carnegie, OK
Burial will follow at the Carnegie Cemetery
