Frank "Butch" Murphy, 67, of Carnegie, OK passed away Friday, August 26th, 2011 at his home in Carnegie, OK. after a short illness. He was born November 23rd, 1943 to Mary Cunningham. He was raised in Lawton, OK by his grandparents Frank M. and Irene C. Murphy. Butch attended school in Lawton, OK. He worked most of his life in Lawton but established his home in Carnegie after marrying the love of his life Mildred Ann Murphy on July 29, 1981. She preceded him in death on November 15, 2010. Butch was a veteran of the United States Army. He also worked in the auto body industry and owned and operated his own businesses for many years as a Matco Tool distributor and restaurant owner. Butch loved Nascar and anything to do with racing and cars and being a devoted loving father and grandfather.

Walter "Skip" Murphy, Lawton, OK
nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Ann Murphy, and "son" Dave Pierson
Funeral Services: 11:00am Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at the First Baptist Church, Carnegie, OK
Burial will follow at the Carnegie Cemetery
