Florence Gloria Goombi-Emhoolah passed away June 12, 2018 in Lawton, Oklahoma. Florence was born March 3, 1946 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Dewey Goombi Ahgoom and Susan McKenzie.
Florence attended school at Mtn. View, Oklahoma. She worked as a bookkeeper in Dallas, Texas, CHR for the Caddo Tribe, and was a cook for Four Winds Lodge in San Jose, California. Florence married Hubert "Bucky" Emhoolah in Ware's Chapel at Hogcreek.
Florence was member of the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma. She was a member of the Rainy Mountain Kiowa Indian Baptist Church but also attended various other churches.
Florence is survived by one daughter, Alexis (Thompson) Diaz of Blanchard, Oklahoma
One son, Addison "Sonny"Thompson of Chickasha, Oklahoma. .
One stepson, Gordon Emhoolah of Norman, Oklahoma.
One sister, Harriet Sloan and husband Ronnie of Mtn. View, Oklahoma
One brother, Barney Ahgoom and wife Sharon of Phoenix, Arizona
12 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren
Many relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Ginger Ann Thompson Haumpy, her parents, one sister, three brothers and her husband.
