Evah Myrle Peterson

Evah Myrle Peterson, 94, of Hobart, Oklahoma passed away unexpectedly at her home. She was born on August 21,1927 to Everett and Laura (Squires) Burton in Gotebo, Oklahoma. She moved to Hobart in 1936 and graduated from Hobart High School in 1945. She was always a Bearcat fan and still continued to listen to Hobart football games as often as she could. On August 27, 1948 she married the love of her life Eugene Peterson in Vernon, TX. She loved to sew, quilt, work crossword puzzles, and cook.
Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and absolutely adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her: husband Eugene, parents Everett and Laura Burton, sisters Almeda Hogan, Edith Bell, Addie McNutt, brothers Raymond Burton, Wilford Burton, and James Burton, and daughter-in-law Patty Peterson.
