Eva Lee Freeman

Eva Lee Freeman, 85, Nacogdoches, TX and a former Tillman and Kiowa county resident passed away on Saturday, January 12th, 2013 in Nacogdoches, TX. She was born October 3rd, 1927 in Hobart, OK to William and Virginia (Prough) Burton. She married Winford Freeman on May 17, 1944 in Oklahoma City, OK. Eva taught at 57 school near Gotebo, OK for 2 1/2 years. She also farmed with her husband. She worked for Dr. Robert Farrand for many years. Eva Lee moved to Nacogdoches, TX in 2007.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda Ayres and husband, Bill, Madill, OK

6 grandchildren, Jason Herring, Jud Herring, Greg Zacharias, Matt Zacharias, Erin Embary, and Jared Belz
1 brother, Billy Burton and wife Sharon, Gotebo, OK

13 great grandchildren

Eva Lee was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Winford Freeman (August 5, 2010), and one daughter, Carol Ann Herring (1987)
