Eva Corrine Hendricks Dorman, 87, formerly of Anadarko, was born October 26, 1926 in Porum, Oklahoma to Julius and Emma (Rushing) Smith. She passed away Sunday, January 26, 2013, at the Heritage Park Nursing Home in Bethany, Oklahoma.
Mrs. Dorman was raised in Porum and later moved to Anadarko. She married Joe Hendricks in 1946 and to this union 11 children were born. On June 21, 1976, Eva and Roy M. Dorman were married in Lubbock, Texas.
Eva's hobbies included quilting, gardening, raising flowers, cooking. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roy Dorman, three sons, Jim Hendricks, Boyd Hendricks, and Calvin Hendricks; three brothers and one sister and 3 grandsons.
Her survivors include, five daughters, Jolene Dutton of Lindsay, Jean Butler and husband Dale, Laquetta Hendricks, Sue Guy, Mary Doughty and husband Justin all of Anadarko; three sons, Wayne Hendricks of Anadarko, Don Hendricks and wife Norma and Bebop Hendricks all of Oklahoma City; five brothers, Bill Smith and wife Louise, Cleo Smith and Randy Smith all of California, Sam Smith and wife Sue of Washington, Oklahoma and Carl Smith of Marlow; six sisters, Margie Klusemeyer and husband Bob of Ft. Worth, Texas, Freida McHorse, Sue Nell Van, and Josie Hicks all of Midwest City, Oklahoma and Stella Richardson and husband Johnny of Ada and Thaylia Nastell of Marlow; and special friend and sister-in-law Mary Reyes of Gracemont; 44 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
There will be a funeral service at 11 A.M., Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at the Square Top Baptist Church, northwest of Anadarko, with Justin Doughty, officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay under the direction of Steverson Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left for the family at
