Erwin Clifton Pewo

Erwin Clifton Pewo, Jr., 21, of Gracemont, OK, passed away Monday, December 1st, 2014. He was born to Erwin Pewo Sr, and Patricia ( Akeen) Pewo, March 15, 1993 in Lawton, OK. Erwin graduated from Gracemont High School in 2011. He played basketball and football. His football team was the first to play 8 man football. After high school he attended Caddo-Kiowa Vocational Center where he finished his classes in Barber and Cosmetology. Erwin taught himself how to play the Native American Flute. He also enjoyed playing the guitar with his father.

He was proceeded in death by his grandparents, Vernon Lee Pewo, Sr., and Lavena Pewo, grandfather, George Akeen, great grandpa, Elmer White Eagle, great grandparents, Wilson and Ethel (Eikeahpihoodle) Pewo, great grandparents, Weiser and Henrieteta Tongkeamha.

Wake Service: 7:00p.m., Thursday, Decemeber 4, 2014
Funeral Service: 11:00a.m., Friday, December 5, 2014
Both Services will be held at Cedar Creek United Methodist Church, Carnegie, OK

Burial will follow at Saddle Mountain Cemetery, Mountain View, OK
under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Carnegie
