Ernie Rogers McCoy, 87, formerly of Fort Cobb, Oklahoma passed away with family by his side at the Clinton Veterans Center on April 27th, 2018. He was born on July 24th, 1930 to Jessie and Emma Harper McCoy in Crowville, Louisiana.
Ernie attended school in Rayville, Louisiana. He joined the Army and served in the Korean Conflict.
Ernie worked as an Independent Consultant for an Oil Company and worked in Egypt for 13 years for them.
Ernie is survived by one sister, Carmen McCoy of Carnegie, Oklahoma.
Three nieces, three nephews, seven great nieces, six great nephews, four great great nieces and nephews. He is survived by numerous relatives and friends.
Ernie was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, J.D. McCoy, two sisters, Marcella Hancock and Lil Sherman, One nephew Harry Calhoun, one great great niece and one great great nephew.
