Ernesto "Chico" Ramirez, 72, of Hobart, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on May 8th, 2017. Chico was born on April 13, 1945 to Ernesto and Matilda (Monsivais) Ramirez in Rock Springs, Wyoming. The Ramirez family were migrant workers who traveled throughout the United States before settling in Hobart in 1960.
Chico loved to work with his hands, first as a plumber with Hubert Long, then as a mechanic with Ray Marler and Sam Malone in their service stations. He later opened his own shop where he was well known for his mechanic skills.
His hobbies were his grandchildren, who he loved dearly. He always managed to find humor in any given situation, if he couldn't find humor he made it up.
