Emma Lee Unap, 76, of Carnegie, Oklahoma passed away June 2, 2018 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Emma was born November 7, 1941 in Carnegie, Oklahoma to James Franklin and Amy Geionety Aitson. Emma attended school in Carnegie Oklahoma and later at Haskell Institute. She married Arthur Unap on July 22, 1960 at Cedar Creek United Methodist Church in Carnegie, Oklahoma. Emma was a member of the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma and attended Cedar Creek United Methodist Church and First Baptist Church in Carnegie, Oklahoma. Emma retired from the Carnegie Public Schools after 42 years of service as the Indian Education and JOM Coordinator. Emma was a lifelong Christian woman.

Preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Unap, her son Douglas Dale, her parents, two brothers, Amos Aitson Sr., and Joseph James Aitson Sr.
