Emma Jean Cranford

Emma Jean Cranford, 89, of Sentinel, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully in Weatherford, Oklahoma on July 9, 2024. The eldest of 5 children, she was born September 16, 1934 in Sentinel, Oklahoma to George Omar and Mary Velma (Fox) Celsor.

Emma Jean grew up in Sentinel and married the love of her life, Albert Eugene (Buddy) Cranford on February 14, 1949. They were happily married for 74 years. Emma Jean was an avid Duplicate Bridge player, reaching Life Master status at an early age. Some of her fondest memories were attending bridge tournaments with Buddy, Nancy, and Jerry.

Emma Jean was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her grandson, Joshua Farris; her brother, Bud Celsor; 2 sisters, Nancy Brown and Georgianna Celsor; her sister-in-law, Sandra Stocking; and her brother-in-law, Jerry Brown.
