Emma Ella "Midge" Combs, age 101, longtime resident of Sentinel, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at the Cordell Christian Home in Cordell, Oklahoma.
Midge was born July 12, 1917 near Gotebo, Oklahoma to Adam and Julia Leiphardt. She married Alva Combs on November 25, 1936, and they were married 55 years before Alva passed away in 1991.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sentinel, and enjoyed church trips to Branson, Missouri with her friends.
Preceding Midge in death were her parents, Adam and Julia Leiphardt, husband Alva Combs, two sisters: Bertha Williamson and Rachel Mobley, and one brother Chester Leiphardt.
Midge is survived by her sons: Alden Combs and wife Judy of Madill,
Alvin D. Combs and wife Mary Linda of Sentinel,
5 grandchildren: Ronald Combs and wife Carol of Madill,
Natalie Muncrief and husband Brian of Madill,
Tresa Trammell and husband Joel of Madill,
Curtis Combs and wife Candy of Oklahoma City,
Cody Combs and wife Paula of Sentinel,
9 great-grandchildren: Dustin, Dyson, Dillon, Melissa, Copan, Calan, CJ, Tux, and Toyie,
and 5 great-great grandchildren.
