Emanuel Fuchs, 99, passed away on June 16, 2016. He was born on June 18, 1916, in Cordell, Oklahoma to John J. and Kathrina (Koch) Fuchs. He was a member of the Farm Bureau for Kiowa County and Gotebo School Board for many years. He was a charter member at First Lutheran Church in Hobart, Oklahoma. He served in World War II as a member of the Army Air Corp working as a propeller mechanic from December 18, 1941 to October 1, 1945. Emanuel married Maxine Freeze in Wichita Falls, Texas, on August 17, 1946.
He is survived by his wife, Maxine Fuchs,
four children; Randy Fox and wife Leda, Goldsby, Oklahoma,
Larry Fuchs, Gotebo, Oklahoma,
Genia Adair and Fiance Bill Conway, Norman, Oklahoma,
Timmy Fuchs and wife Karen, Kansas City, Missouri
ten grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, two great-great-granchildren,
nephew, LeRoy Fox, Hobart, Oklahoma,
nieces; Barbara Lester, Hobart, Oklahoma,
Delores Merrick, Texas
and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one infant son, two brothers; John Fox Jr. and Sam Fuchs, and one sister Freda Krigbaum.
Burial will be at 3:30p.m., at the Hobart Rose Cemetery in Hobart, OK
