Elton L Christian

Elton Leroy Christian, 93, of Dill City, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on October 16th, 2017. Elton was born on June 1, 1924 to Gus and Lillian (Marriott) Christian in Forty One, Oklahoma. He attended school at Port, graduated from Dill City. He met and married the love of his life Della Jo Green on May 20, 1944 in the Alexander home near Rocky, She preceded him in death on March 16, 2014. Elton was a Farmer and Rancher. He drove a semi truck for Garland Black for many years taking locally grown crops to market. Then he drove a propane truck from 1972 to 2011. Elton began employment for Margaret Carpenter, John Strange and Beck & Root. He was a longtime member of the Dill City First Baptist Church, he was an ordained Deacon where he served in various positions and committees. Elton was also a member of the Holiday Rambler R.V. Club. Elton will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Preceded in death by: Parents, wife: Della Jo Christian, 3 brothers: Kenneth, Archie and Leland Christian, brother-in-law: John Noble, Sister-in-law: Mollie Klump.
