Elsa Mae McKelvy, age 89, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 27, 2012 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Elsa Mae was born on February 25, 1923 in Hobart, Oklahoma to her loving parents, William and Fannie Lindsey. She had an enormous love for her family and was happiest when she was in fellowship with them. Elsa Mae always brightened up every room that she entered with her friendly and loving spirit. She never met a stranger and was always quick to brag on her children and grandchildren.
For years, Elsa Mae worked at Hobart Seed Company before moving to Oklahoma City. Elsa, also known as "Nanny", loved the company of children ( or ,as she called them, her "babies") and ran a daycare out of her home. The legacy of Elsa Mae's kind spirit, endless love, loyalty and compassionate heart will live on through her family and friends. She was a gracious woman and woman of grace.

Graveside services will be held at Hobart Rose Cemetery on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at
2:30 p.m. under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Hobart, OK
