Elmer LeRoy Yount, 90, passed away May 13, 2019. He was born in Pawhuska, Oklahoma on April 10, 1929 to George Elmer and Helen Katherine (Sides) Yount. He married Virginia Lee Campbell on July 22, 1948. After graduation, LeRoy played football for Kansas State for a year. He worked at Natural Gas Pipe Line of America in Glasco, Kansas, Texas, and Oklahoma for 37 years until he retired in 1986. LeRoy was saved at a young age, he always gave his beautiful voice to praise his Lord & Savior. He led the singing in the United Methodist Churches he attended. So many loved his singing and he sang for so many funerals, special occasions, weddings, and graduations. After his retirement, he sang at nursing homes four days a week.
LeRoy was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother Archie Yount, 1 sister Doris Poindexter, 1 daughter Becky Yount, 1 son-in-law Ricky White, and his wife of nearly 70 years, Virginia.

Delores White of Sentinel, Oklahoma,
Kent Yount and wife Jalenda of Hobart, Oklahoma,
10 grandchildren: Nikki (Rozell) Clark and Jeff of Enid, Oklahoma,
Joey Rozell and Brandy of Sentinel, Oklahoma,
Rickey Brady and Stephanie of Edmond, Oklahoma,
Jeni (Yount) Rainforth and James of Springhill, Kansas,
Kelli (White) Hightower and Darren of Claremore, Oklahoma,
Traci (White) Story and Daryn of Edmond, Oklahoma,
Kori (White) Eckhardt and Kurtis of Sand Springs, Oklahoma,
Lana (Yount) Null and Kyle of Weatherford, Oklahoma,
Leslee (Yount) Smith and Aaron of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma,
Reggy Yount and Sarah of Weatherford, Oklahoma,
25 great grandchildren, 4 nephews, 2 nieces, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
