Elma Reta Nix

Elma Reta Nix, 92, of Carnegie, OK, passed away on January 21, 2023. Elma Reta was born to Frank and Lavada Scott on November 22, 1930, in Carnegie, Oklahoma. Elma Reta grew up and attended schools in Carnegie. She married the love of her life, Irvin Nix on November 26, 1949, in Hobart, Oklahoma. Together they raised 3 children, Linda, Shelia, and Tommy. Elma Reta worked 34 years as a Beautician in the area and then worked 23 years at Walmart until she retired. Elma Reta was a busy woman but always made sure to have her hair, makeup, and nails done. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Great Grandchildren: Mason, Aidan, Andrew, Eli, Hayleigh, Brayden, Kade, Coen, Kinsey, Cameron, Payton, Rylan, Matthew, Ethan, Dylan, Alyssa, Baylee, and Stetson.

She is preceded in death by her husband Irvin Nix, daughter Shelia Sharry, parents Frank & Lavada Scott
