Ellen Cordelia McCullough

Ellen Cordelia (Little) McCullough, 87, of Fort Cobb, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on March 1, 2025. She was born on October 17, 1937, to Melvin and Ina (McLemore) Little in Colony, Oklahoma. Cordelia grew up and attended school in Colony and Carnegie, graduating from Carnegie High School. She received a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Cordelia married Allen McCullough on June 3, 1958 at the Weatherford Church of Christ. To this union were born two children, Mark Allen and Brian Keith. She taught school at Carnegie for 30 years, and was Teacher of the year during this time. She was a member of OEA and OREA. Cordelia was a member of the Fort Cobb Church of Christ, where she was baptized on May 25, 1958, taught Sunday School and was also an elders wife.
