Elizabeth "Congie" Silverhorn, 50, of Anadarko went to be with her Lord on Friday, October 7, 2016. She passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home surrounded by loved ones.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at JJ Methvin Methodist Church in Anadarko with Pastor Donnie Ahhaitty officiating . Prayer services and an all night wake will be held at 7 p.m. Monday October 10th, 2016 at JJ Methvin Methodist Church in Anadarko, OK. Burial will follow at Redstone Cemetery under the direction of Ray and Martha's Funeral Home in Anadarko.
Elizabeth was born on December 19th, 1965 in Lawton, OK to Iris Silverhorn. She attended and graduated from Ft. Cobb High School in Ft. Cobb Oklahoma.
Elizabeth was a proud member of the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma. She was so proud of her occupation which was a Domestic Engineer and that's what she called herself. She was also a member of Redstone Baptist Church in Anadarko. She is preceded in death by her grandfather James Silverhorn, grandmother Clara Rose Tsalote, brothers Henry Silverhorn and Jimmy Silverhorn.
She is survived by mother Iris Rose Silverhorn of Anadarko, sister Clarissa Silverhorn and companion James Robinson of Anadarko, husband Kevin Poolaw, daughter Sacha Silverhorn and companion Justin Mendoza of California, son Westley Poolaw of California, son's Corey Poolaw, Emerson Silverhorn, Cameron Poolaw and companion Meghan Edge of Anadarko, daughter's Kathryne Silverhorn, Savanna Silverhorn, and Katrina Silverhorn of the home, four grandchildren, Myles Silverhorn and Jayden Mendoza of California, Chayson Poolaw and Evelyn Iris Silverhorn of the home, special pet Chiquita Silverhorn, special sister Dawn Pewo, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
Elizabeth loved the OU Sooners. She was their number one fan. She loved all music especially the band Earth, Wind and Fire. She also loved her Facebook and keeping in touch with friends and family. She loved being a wife, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt and especially a mother. Family was everything to her and there wasn't anything she wouldn't do for you. She touched so many people with her beautiful smile, kind heart, and her infectious laughter. Some of her best memories were growing up in Fort Cobb at Grandpa James homeplace just laughing and being around family. She was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed.
